September 27, 2005 - Discussion of new State of Connecticut Guidelines for Identification and Education of Children and Youth with Autism

Tuesday, October 25, 2005 - Panel of Teenagers and Young Adults with Asperger's and Related Issues.  They will present their perspectives and experiences with time for questions and answers.

Tuesday, November 29, 2005 - Dr. Marianne Barton, Ph.D., Directory of Psychological Services Clinic, University of Connecticut. "Reading and Understanding Autism Spectrum Research"

Additions to the Library

We had a generous donation of about 15 books to the FAVAN library.  The library listing on the web site has been updated with the new books added and all books grouped by categories for easier reference.

Upcoming Events

The CT Autism Spectrum Resource Center will hold it’s 2nd Autism Spectrum Resource Fair on Saturday, October 1 at Southern Connecticut State University. Details are available at http://www.ct-asrc.org.
