Recently Added Conferences and Workshops

The Autism Society of America is holding it's annual National Conference in Providence RI, from July 12-15.  There are a large number of workshops  and speakers scheduled.  Conference information is available online at the ASA web site (http://www.autism-society.org) or by calling (301) 657-0881 x.7

A workshop titled Applied Behavior Analysis: Foundations And Innovations Of Effective Education For Children With Autism And Related Disabilities will be held on Saturday, April 8 at the UConn Campus in Waterbury.

Other Area Meetings

The Autism Society of Connecticut has upcoming meetings with guest speakers including author Susan Senator, author David Kirby, as well as Temple Grandin and Brenda Smith-Myles speaking at the annual conference on April 29.  Details can be found on the Autism Society of Connecticut Calendar.

Upcoming Events

The NAAR will be holding a Walk for Autism Research to be held in West
Hartford on June 11, 2006 at Elizabeth Park.  You can sign up at www.autismwalk.org/hartford.
