CT SERC is holding a workshop on Friday, May 12, 2006: Preparing for the Road Ahead: Helping Students Transition to College.  The workshop will be held at Southern Connecticut State University.

The Autism Society of Connecticut has annual conference is Saturday, April 29.  Details can be found on the Autism Society of Connecticut Calendar.

Upcoming Events

CT-ASRC is sponsoring two focus groups as part of a statewide needs assessment. The first is for adults with autism spectrum disorder and the second is for parents of adults with autism spectrum disorders.  The focus groups will be held at High Roads School in Wallingford the evenings of May 16 and 17.  Contact the CT-ASRC for more information.

The Simsbury Soccer Club is sponsoring The Outreach Program for Soccer for youths ages 6-19 with disabilities. The program is held 9 a.m. - 10. a.m. on Saturdays.  Contact Dan Carr at 651-3584 or Robin Schuldt at 651-1667.

FOCUS Alternative Learning Center will be holding it's annual Funfest on June 3, 2006 in Canton from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The NAAR will be holding a Walk for Autism Research to be held in West
Hartford on June 11, 2006 at Elizabeth Park.  You can sign up at www.autismwalk.org/hartford.
