Phillip J. Cohn, attorney and Michelle Laubin, attorney present Special Education Law: Attorneys Representing Parents and School Boards Discuss the Issues in Fairfield on May 4, 2009 at 7:00-8:30pm.  

John D. Molteni, Ph.D., BCBA-D of Saint Joseph College is beginning a lecture series with the first topic: Managing Challenging Behaviors Across Settings.  Dr. Molteni has added a second presentation on May 11, due the amount of responses received so far.  RSVP to Dr. Molteni via the address on the flyer.  

Future Horizons is presenting a two day conference in Hartford on July 9-10 featuring Dr. Temple Grandin, Dr. Tony Attwood, Carol Kranowitz, and Dr. Jed Baker.

Other News

Google launched Project Spectrum in 2007 after finding out that one it's products, a 3-D modelling tool called SketchUp, was unexpectedly being used, very creatively, by kids with autism.  Google has a video on-line that includes some of their work.  The software is free to download and use.   For the younger kids that are not quite ready for 3-D modelling, TuxPaint is another program with lots of features that kids enjoy.  It's also fee.
